Junior Tour Financial Aid Application

The Metropolitan PGA Foundation believes every junior golfer should have the opportunity to compete, regardless of financial circumstances. Financial assistance is available to members who may need support with tournament expenses.

All requests are kept strictly confidential and reviewed by the Metropolitan PGA Foundation Committee based on financial need. As funding is made possible through charitable contributions, assistance is limited and cannot be guaranteed for every applicant. We encourage all eligible members to apply!

Cameron Young Scholarship

Established in 2026, the Cameron Young Scholarship encourages and promotes the pursuit of higher education among the children and grandchildren of Metropolitan PGA Members who have demonstrated strong academic achievement during their high school and/or college careers.

The scholarship is made possible through the generosity of Met PGA Foundation Ambassador. Cameron Young, whose championship journey began right here in the Metropolitan PGA Section. Cameron grew up playing junior golf through the Metropolitan PGA Junior Tour while his father proudly served as the head PGA Professional at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. After advancing through junior and collegiate golf, Cameron has gone on to achieve great success on the PGA TOUR, including representing the United States in the 2025 Ryder Cup.

Through the Cameron Young Scholarship, Cameron and his family hope to support the next generation of students from PGA families by providing educational opportunities and helping young people pursue their own dreams just as the Metropolitan PGA community helped inspire his.
The Cameron Young Scholarship celebrates the legacy of PGA Professionals and the families who support them, while investing in the next generation of leaders within the Metropolitan PGA community.
